Q: Weird Cat Biting

So my cat does the usual of climbing all over me to get attention and itches around the face. BUT lately when your done petting him, he does this thing where he grabs your arm and starts nibbling. It doesn't hurt and he's not biting or playing. When you try to move him he meows at you. This is a new and very odd behavior, wondered if anyone else had a cat that did this when they weren't play fighting?

**Thanks for all the great feedback, seems my cat is normal. Thought he was spoiled already, but I guess it's his way of grabbing more attention.

Roo my only male cat does this. He just wants more love and attention. It's usually in the late evening when watching tv and everyone is in bed and the house is quiet. I guess that's his way of saying ok my turn, show me some love.

He wants affection and attention. Our cat does that but he will also walk up and nip at our legs to get our attention. Cute!

My cat Spencer does this too. I don't think its really that odd. Seems to be a way to say "hey, keep petting me".

I've had cats that did this. It's kind of a mix between affection and playing.

I would say it could be his way of showing affection. If he didn't like you , he would draw some blood pretty quickly.

My cat Cupid does that sometimes because he doesn't like to be picked up
