Q: We would like to get another dog, how do we make sure he/she will be a good fit for our current dog?

We currently have a young husky. She has a lot of energy, and we think she would benefit from haveing a sibling to play with. How do we go about finding the one that she would want to have around all the time?

Well. Some sheters <---- (I love shelters) offer a pet "meeting" before you get the dog so its in a non-territorial area! Its a really good idea to have the doggie playdate so you can see what age your dog responds to in the most positive way. Some breeders or those pet classifieds do as well. It also gives you time to see if YOU actually like the dog. :D Its basically a win win situation besides a loss of your time. Good luck on your dog hunt. :)
