Q: Watch what you respond to-not ours?
January 28, 2009 | By Diane C. | 10 answers | Expired: 1563 days ago
I just saw an interesting journal entry that caught my eye & I clicked on it. As I was about to comment I noticed that this pet owner was from Ct. & was supporting another rescue other than ours. Then I realized that there might be a lot of these & we may not be noticing them. So if we respond to anything on their page we are giving our points to their rescue instead of ours!!!! I just didn't realize other out of state rescues would be on our local site & taking our points. Be careful, be aware-let's make sure ALL points go to our local Humane Society on Mobley Road, Brooksville!!! Have you noticed these?

I have noticed a lot of people on zootoo asking if they could change their shelter affiliation but I think only the zookeeper can do that @ zootoo. Also, I feel that everyone has forgotten altogether why we're here. We're here for our pets and most importantly the shelter animals because they're not fortunate enough to have loving families like our pets do. If you feel you don't get the right answer, you might want to contact zootoo @ support@zootoo.com

I thought anything we did on our Zootoo site counted towards the shelter we are supporting. I guess I'm a little confused now. Can someone clear this up?

the only time that the shelter gets the points is when someone signs up and chooses them as their shelter/rescue and also when animals are adopted from them. Anything that you do, gets points on your page, which gets points for your shelter. Please continue commenting on people from around the states. That is one of the neat things about ZooToo. Sharing thoughts with people around the US

Diane, I do not believe that is true. You are responding so you get the points. Please check the rules. If I am wrong, let me know, but I don't think so.
