does such a thing exist? my brother and his girlfriend have a way w/squirrels and love watching them. they already have squirrel houses and feeding stations in their yard, but i thought it would be cool to get them something the squirrels could actually play with. any ideas or links?
i know someone who makes bird toys...if i had her make something squirrel friendly, would they play w/it?

i've seen videos of squirrels playing with random odds and ends that they came across, including corn cobs. when i was about 8 we had a number of wild squirrels at my grandparents' house that were pretty tame, even eating out of our hands, but they never really "played", per se.

they're really not so much for the squirrel's amusement, but there are products like the "whirl-a-squirrel":

www.amazon.com/Woodside-Gardens-Squirrel-A-Whirl/dp/B001BOBVTI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1260395750&sr=8-1

...and "bungee feeders":

that can make feeding time more interesting for human spectators.
