Q: too much pee?

my roommate just informed me that my dog has peed twice since i left. it's 10pm now and i left a little before 9. he also peed twice while i was home. he's a 4 month old mini doxie, about 5lbs, possibly 6 now. it's mostly clear; so i think he's just drinking too much water. (i think he's trying to keep up with my roommates bigger dog) should i be concerned?

edit: thanks for your answers! it was already what i had assumed, but since she text me about it, i became slightly concerned. i'm glad i don't have to be worried

Puppies have very small bladders. When they're sleeping they don't need to go as much but when they're active they need to pee often. He should slow down as he gets older.

Perfectly normal. Get those training pads if you want to get out otherwise a doggy door would work, but the puppy is still very young and needs a lot of attention at this point.

puppies pee alot as he gets older it will slow down, put out pads and get him to use them, he will learn, small dogs take longer to train, my doxy took almost 3 years to finally figure he has to go out
