Q: Too many rescued cats

March 20, 2009 | By Admalec927 | 5 answers | Expired: 1838 days ago

Me and my family live in a 3 bedroom apartment and we have 10 cats that we have rescued from the streets. They all are females ages from 4 to 5 months to 3 years old.But my husband just lost his job and we are running out of ways to support them. Can't afford to take them to the vet. And we don't want to send them to the pound because they have so many they have to put them to sleep. Ihave one cat that is allergic to fleas and she is broke out all over. And she would be the first to be put to sleep. All she needs, All they all need is a real good home that can afford them. It's not that we don't love them, they are like our children. I just don't know what to do. Can you please give me an ideah of how to handle our problem?

Try to find a no-kill shelter in your area. Almost every city has at least one. Good luck.
