Q: This may seem like a silly question, but I will never know if I dont ask....
When is a puppy considered an adult?
Sep 20, 2008
As a mutual dog lover, no question is ever silly if it is asked to provide the best care and love for our 4 legged family members. According to numerous things I have read and the dog food change, a dog is considered an adult at 10 months and older.

In general, your dog is considered an adult between the ages of 1 1/2 years and 2 years old. That is when they stop losing their baby teeth and have all adult teeth. The females will also start cycling around 1 1/2 y/o, if they aren't spayed. Hope this helps!
