Q: tear stains

does anyone have any advice how to get rid of those awful reddish brown colored tear stains on white dogs(ie:poodles)

there are many products out there for tear staining removal, most are cleaning products that you really have to use daily for best results

there is a preparation that is available via prescription only from your vet that helps this too, it is a combination of antibiotics that help prevent the staining too
