Has anyone ever heard of using the hair from brushing your dog to keep skunks out of your yard? Someone told me this will keep them away because the skunks don't like the dander in dog fur... thoughts?

Nope. Never heard that. We have a skunk who gives birth every spring and brings up her litter right next door. She has no problem hanging around in our backyard and we have 2 dogs.

Actually, yes and it is suppose to repel deer and other critters from your gardens as well. Doesn't mean you might not get one that isn't bothered though!
