So Abby's food has not changed and Shorty has never liked her food and always stayed out of it the same with Shasta's food he doesn't like it and has never touched it but the past two days outta no where he has been wolfing down their dry dog food when we aren't watching and it makes him sick he throws it up and he keeps on eating it I don't understand why he has decided all of a sudden that he has to eat Shasta and Abby's dry dog food his diet has not changed either so I am wondering why he is doing this I can get him to stop on my own but does anyone know why he is doing this?

It would be helpful if you included what each pet (Abby, Shorty, Shasta) is -- i.e., dog or cat, as well as their ages and how long they have lived together.

My best GUESS is that eating another pet's food is an indicator of an attempt at showing dominance. It is probably just part of a "power play".
