Q: Shedding...Suggestions?
What methods for reducing shedding have you found that work best. Our lab has always been a big shedder and he sheds year round. Our beagle normally only sheds during the summer. This year both of their shedding has seemed to be increasing more and more. Everything in my house in covered in hair no matter how often I clean. The hair doesn't bother me too much - I have dogs - I know there is always going to be dog hair. But as I said it just seems to be getting worse and worse so I would love to know what products, treatments, and such have worked for others.

My daughter has a dog that sheds alot so I bouhgt the Furminator for them for Christmas. It's been a huge help with the shedding and the dog loves being brushed.

The Furminator does work- have to use it often- our puggle sheds a lot- we get her shaved about every 6-8 weeks- has cut down the shedding by 80% ask your groomer if they has any suggestions- also ask your vet- you might add a supplement to their diets like fish oil- I hear that works

Also a high quality diet helps a lot, too.
