i wouldn't care but the dog needs to be a female prefferably and must be in the toy chihuahua group! I know it sounds like i am picky but i'm not. it's just that my dad said i can only get a small dog. :( any way highest price $30. San Jose area only plus i have no shelters near me! about 2 hour drive and i can't drive yet!

You just said yesterday that you need to give up your rabbit because you are too busy to take care of him! Now you are wanting a dog? You AND your parents need to dicuss this matter and make sure a dog is something that you are gonna have time for.

considering i was born & raised in San Jose, i know for a fact that there are several animal control facilities & rescues in that area... are you going to find a "toy" breed for under $30, more then likely not... not tryin to burts your bubble hun, honestly...

you might get lucky & find something in the paper... but hun let me ask you this... who is going to pay for the pups shots...? who will pay for the pup to be spayed/nuetered...?? who will pay for the pup to go to the vet if it gets sick...?? who is going to pay for the food...?? will your dad let this tiny pup sleep in the house or outside...?? these are all very important things to think about...

Your father doesn't want a dog or e wouldn't tell you to "FIND" a small dog, a pet needs a good home & should be a member of the family.

you can try pet finders and local rescue groups, they have wonderful dog and even pups some times. you'd be giving a dog a second chance for happiness, good luck with your search

have you tried looking on petfinder yet there are tons of adoptable dogs on there and if you type what you want in the side column with were you live your state and city or your zip code. But if you live near Longview, WA or Portland, orgeon then look online at rescued paws or online at paws to adopt. Both the places have lots of little dogs all the time and if you have a good home rescued paws can drive the dog up to you. There is a one eyed male chihauhua named Rico at Rescued Paws in Longview, WA he is still only 2 or 3 years old and he is so playful and funny the only problem is you would have to have him on a leash outside or you would have to buy a zip line for him to run on, Because he can climb over a chain link fence. But if you are interested let me know and I will let them know at the rescue I work down there too. There is also a older female chihuahua named Alexis I am not sure if we still have her or not but I am pretty sure we do unless she got adopted in the last two days and there is Zippy who is a male chihauhau papillion mix he is a real cutie and loves everyone were kinda a nervous about who to give him to though because he is so small. So take a look and good luck to finding a new best friend.
