I am looking to buy my mom a saint bernard puppy for her birthday in september. I was wondering if anyone knows of any breeders that are genuine/

first make sure that your mom wants one of the giant breeds then write to the akc and tell them the area that you are looking in nd they should be able to steer you to reputable breeder

Personally I think you should check with a rescue-there are alot of rescues out there that do specialize in particular breeds and those that specialize in large breeds. Since this is the heaviest breed there is you should definitely make sure that this is a breed that your mom wants! Then you need to ask her if she is looking for a wet or drymouth and a long or smooth coat and of course male or female. Larger breeds also have a shorter life span compared to the smaller breeds so I would recommend studying the breed BEFORE you choose.

Try AKC .org and Petfinder .com. I agree you should check out a rescue. Do some research and find exactly what you're (she) is looking for.
