Q: Ringworm remedies for kitten
Our 10 wk old kitten has ringworm (and so do we). Ours is responding quickly to treatment. Vet has us on a weekly sulphur lime dip ..and said it might take 2-3 months. Has anyone had success with online products... this lime dip seems tortuous to both her and us. Anybody with successful exper. with ringworm in kittens?

ringworm is a struggle and it will commonly take 2-3 months, though i've seen it cured in one. sometimes they just kick it faster and you could probably make another vet appointment after a month and a half to see if your kitten has too. b/c ringworm is so tricky to get rid of, i would avoid anything that's not vet prescribed.
it may seem tortuous, but it's only once a week for a relatively short period in her life and it's for the best. you know how frustrating and itchy it is, it's all worth it in the end.

I foster and have struggled with ringworm most of hte summer. I found that the OTC antifungal creams don't work and actually make it worse. I found a product called Myosan Cream that seems to work pretty well. But like the OTC creams only treats the areas you put it on, where as the Lym Dyps kill the fungus even if you don't see any signs of it. Be sure to clean your home really well as it can live in hte environment for several months as well. Also people and animals alike can be carriers and not show symptoms. Good Luck.
