Can you remember ALL of your past pets names? I have had MANY(close to if not more than 50) pets of several different species, and the other day I was trying to see if I could name them all...Sadly I couldn't! Can you?

Remembering names is easy, my list is fairly short. Longevity was our family's specialty as I was growing up. Sadly, my husband & I have experienced the loss of younger animals. The cats in my life:
PETER & PAN (orange tabbies my parents adopted b4 having my sister & me. Peter lived 17 yrs, Pan 23 yrs.)
MAGGIE (gray tabby, the first kitten my parents agreed to, she added spunk to the elderly Pan's life! Maggie lived 16 yrs.)
NORA & NELLIE (gray tigers, my first adoption when I lived on my own for a year, then we all moved back home w/mom & dad! they kept custody when I moved out again, no pets allowed in my apt. Nora lived for 18 yrs, Nellie for 20)
LUCY & MONTY (gray/white tabbies, Monty was my 1st long haired cat. Husband & I adopted them the wk after we bought our house. Monty died at age 5 from genetic heart defect. We were inconsolable. Lucy lasted til age 9 when heart disease/blood clot took her. Her pain was sudden & I'll never forget her cries.)
JACK (black & white alley cat. My first stray, he accosted me in a diner parking lot. He died this year of cancer. We think he was about 18 yrs old, we shared 12 of those yrs together. Our devotion to each other was legendary.)
ALLIE (my first calico, her adoption pix was the most beautiful I'd ever seen. She misses Jack. Just diagnosed w/pancreatitis. She's 9.)
MEGAN & BLACKIE (brown/black tiger & my first all black cat. They're the craziest cats I've ever adopted! They're 8.)
RUDY (my first dog! A St. Bernard found walking streets of Philly one wk after 9/11. Skinny, filthy & smelly. Brought to ASPCA, no one claimed her & we had to have her! She died 4 yrs ago just before Christmas and the loss was the most painful. Still can't face it entirely.)
ABBY (St. Bernard. We adopted her 4 months after Rudy's death. She was 9 mos at the time & given up due to "allergies." A few months later we began to see another reason she was given up. Her fear based aggression has been managed w/behavior training & meds. She's now 4 yrs old & we're thankful to have her in our lives.)
I believe I'll always know the names of whoever joins our family. But I've never had a tank full of fish so there's no guarantee :)

Hm. I don't think I can either. There was Freya, Alex, Rusty, Aggie, and Samwise and some more that I don't remember.

NO WAY !!

Then again, from time to time, I'm sure I think of ALL of them, sooner or later. Some little thing will happen and it'll remind me "of the time...."

I haven't sat down and tried to list them. Nor do I want to do that. Memries shouldn't be categorized, just enjoyed.

And as Forest would say, "That's all I wanna say about that."

No way- too many goldfish and hamsters as a kid. The best thing is that I was watching old family videos at my uncle's house in the country, and they had a barn cat nobody even remembered having!
