Q: Raising a newborn puppy

One of my friend's dog had puppies Monday morning on the 14th and one of the puppies had a cleft lip. He was unable to latch onto his mother so we started bottle feeding him Monday evening every two hours. He is a pitbull and I am wondering how I can socialize him and desensitize him when he isn't really being raised like a normal puppy. Being that he is a pitbull and the bad rap that goes along with his breed, what should I do to make him the perfect dog, that I know he can be? I love pitbulls but others around me aren't so enthusiastic, how can I change their minds?

My dog, Petie, is deaf. Really, I think, even though he was bottle-fed, that he should be treated regularly, just as you treat all your others pups.

He should be seen by a Vet, and with all the problems these poor dogs have you or you friend should not be breeding pit bulls, most pups born like that don't survive, you seem to have allot of animals with problems, maybe a Vet will work out a payment schedule, I hate to see suffering with little creatures that can't help themselves & don't have professional care to ease their pain, what a shame
