My cats love to bite or nibble on my toes as well. or well used too. I put smelly lotion on my feet and toes and they take one bite and they hate it. Even when they see the bottle of lotion close by me they won't even try. So you get nice soft feet and they won't bite lol

Funny when Max was a kitten he use to go for my feet in my sleep. I guess try spraying your pup.

I have used bitter apple when I have been desperate to get my pets to stop biting something. They taste it once on the thing they are not supposed to be biting and they never do it again.

You must reinforce good behavior and punish bad.A gentle pat on the nose and a "no" should work after a while. Also give them something to chew on.Not an old shoe because they may not know the difference between a chew toy and a nice pair of pumps.

I think that is just puppy behavior. Make sure he has lots of things to chew on so he won't get into something he is not.
