Q: Puppy Bites
How do you keep a puppy from biting your toes?
Mar 07, 2009
My cats love to bite or nibble on my toes as well. or well used too. I put smelly lotion on my feet and toes and they take one bite and they hate it. Even when they see the bottle of lotion close by me they won't even try. So you get nice soft feet and they won't bite lol

They need something to chew on so provide plenty of stuff...we tied a knot in old socks and also donated a few old shoes that our pup loves. Also chewsticks. And, NO or a hand signal for NO or both are great to start with very early. They are such fun but can be very destructive for the lst 12-18 mos. when they chew so much. It WILL get better but watch your electrical cords etc. for danger to him and damage to all your stuff.
