Until she gets the process down, you should try Puppy Training Pads. They are sold in pet stores and some times grocery store. I use them for my dog and they are great. They have an attractant in them that the dog senses but people don't. When they have to go they some how know to go there. It will at least save your floor because they are leak proof and are very absorbent. It's worth a try...

I agree, puppy training pads are the way to go!! Our neighbor's chihuahua was trained on them, and even though she goes outside, she still has accidents and knows to find the puppy pad.

We've been going through the same thing with Suzy. She's 2 years old, but has suffered so much stress in the last month - being taken to the shelter, then after we brought her home she developed kennel cough, then went into heat, now is recovering from spaying. Every time something is "off" in her life, she pees on the floor. I have puppy pads down and they help. I usually supplement them with the spray on training aid to make sure they retain their scent if they're unused for a few days.

I keep Suzy on a pretty tight schedule of feeding and walking, which helps. I always give her a special treat when she "goes" outside. She loves these treats and doesn't get them any other time, so she associates pottying outside with something she really likes.

Good luck!
