Q: Pluto

Maybe I should ask my brother jaushua who had to do a report on walt disney in middle school. I also thought I heard that he was a beagle or a lab once. There was one episode of mickey that I liked growing up it was one where pluto has puppies. Pluto had to win the girl dogs heart though first and he seemed as if he where a mutt in that episode because of the way she treated him at first. I myself think he is a mutt and one of the cutest mutt's I've ever seen.

i'm actually in the middle of reading an excellent (and lengthy!) biography on Walt Disney right now. Pluto isn't any specific breed. Goofy is also a dog and was originally called "Dippy Dog".

Ok, here's another question - If Mickey's a mouse; Donald's a duck; and Pluto's a dog; then what is Goofy? I do have the answer, but I want to see what you all think.

And I think Pluto is a bloodhound.

He is not a made up breed - He is a bloodhound (the others are right) if I am remembering correctly. I wish I could remember exeactly where I read this.

if i had to venture a guess I would say some kind of coon hound like a red bone or a walker cross. lol but if you think about it goofy is a dog too. What kind of dog is goofy and how come he can talk and pluto can't.....
