Q: Pink and Long Beaked?

Today I saw a bird that was Pink with speckles it looked like a seed bird mixed with a wood pecker it had a long beak and I tried to look it up online on google but I couldn't find it not even a picture of it does anyone know what kind of bird this was?

If the bird is indigenous to your area, it'll be on that site. That would be the most likely scenario, however, you may have spotted a bird that got loose that otherwise wouldn't be found around there.

If it was a bigger bird, but under 3 feet, it may have been a pink fog crane. I had one, and she had a crest and long beak, with pink feathers. =)

Also, they can be called Hill Cranes and the males are gray with red tops.
