Q: Pets and the vacuum cleaner

Are your pets afraid of the vacuum cleaner? Or do they like it? My dogs LOVE it. They follow me around the ENTIRE time I vacuum and they think it's great fun. My rabbit isn't afraid of it either, which really surprises me.

None of my guinea pigs are afraid of the vacuum. They like it when I use the brush attachment on their fur. I've attached a video of Twinkie being vacuumed. I vacuum a lot around their cages so the sound does not bother them.

My cats dont like it but will only run from it if I move the vacuum to close to them.

One of my daughter's doxies attacks her vacuum and the other runs and hides. My puppy doxy isn't afraid of it at all as he is growing up used to it, but my shelter chiweenie and shelter 30# mix are both really afraid of it. Our cocker we've had since a pup is scared of his shadow...so it varies a lot! = )
