Q: pet room anyone?
i was wondering has anyone ever took a spare room and turned it in a dog room. If anyone has have they ever put dog furniture i.e dog bed, couch,toy box maybe even a t.v. and where did u get ur ideas from. Maybe even tell me what website you have visited to get inspiration from..Im all out of ideas so i wanted someone else opinion b/c im interested in creating a dog room for my baby.

II have two amazing Terriers Dexter & Newton….they are our children and there is nothing my husband or I wouldn’t do for them……we did turn one of our spare bedrooms into the boys room……complete with TV, sofa dog beds and tons and tons of toys.
I agree all a dog wants is to be loved and spend every possible moment with their owners. Dexter & Newton follow me and my husband everywhere when we are home and they sleep with us every night I wouldn’t want it any other way…….but when we are at work we wanted them to have a special place they could go and we would feel okay leaving them for a few hours at a time knowing they had a great playroom…..

I'm gonna do the same thing when I get older. I think you should just design a room that matches your dogs personality. That's what I'm gonna do. :) I'd start with picking a color that goes well with your dog. Then paint the room that color. It'll work perfectly.

A friend of mine has a dog room. She has two rows of crates on one wall. They are well bedded and ventilated. She has a small leather couch in there, and a tv on the wall. She put in a dutch door as well so she can leave the top open.
At my house, the living room is m y 'dog room' - lol.
