How can I protect my wood floors from our new puppy? Is it ok to put baby booties on puppy paws?

Good Qeustion, they do make booties for dogs you can buy them in petco and in wal*mart and online those are okay to put on your puppy. But all my floors are wooden Skitters has never torn the floor up with her claws. But when we got rid of the carpet and all the floors were wood my cats Shorty and Teddy we also had a cat named Biff at the time but the cats decided the new floor smelled diffrent so they went potty on it we did break them of that though. My grandma also has all wooden floors at her house and now she has her miniture poodle Cricket but before she had a big black lab named Kacy. Neither dogs paws ever tore her wood floor up either I don't think you have anything to worry about with that. But I would use doggie booties if I were gonna do that I think that is your best option good luck!
