Well if the dogs like it, go for it. It does have the appearance that when dogs wear clothes, they are being "humanized". As long as you remember they are animals and have different needs than human beings, I don't see a problem with it.

In my opinion, as long as your dog has no problem with the clothes, it's okay. If your dog is fighting with you when you're trying to put on the clothes, I'd say you shouldn't, but you clearly stated that your dog likes it, so, there you go. :)

to each his own really. some dogs need to wear a jacket depending on the weather. the only problem i have w/putting clothes on dogs is when people ignore their function. some are simply meant to be pretty and aren't properly designed for dogs. basically, if it has sleeves, you probably shouldn't stick your dog in it. dogs often go along w/it b/c they accept what their owners want, even when it's uncomfortable.

I have 4 little dogs and I dress them all the time, they actually enjoy it, as do the people that see them. Most of the time it's just for our pleasure, I have coats, sweaters, shoes, little dresses, jewelry, hair bows and barrettes. It's a lot of fun. However, I have an Italian Greyhound that does need to be protected from the weather and does need to wear sunscreen, and tee shirts in the warmer months to protect him from getting sunburn, shoes because his little feet can get burned on the pavement. In the winter he needs his coat and boots to protect him from the cold when we go out. Even if it's not nessessary though and if your dog don't mind why not take advantage of all the cool stuff that's out there!
