This is a little confusing but I'm guessing you have htem separated because you have an unspayed female & an unneutered male. 6-8 million shelter animals died every year because there aren't enough homes for all the animals born each year, so the best & easiest thing you can do as a responsible pet owner is spay & neuter. Your pets will be happier & healthier.

Might want to take the time to specifically discuss keeping them seperated with the lawn service guys next time.

I agree with one of he people that have answered already. If you dog aren't Fixed they should be getting fixed soon.

This is very confusing - but if they aren't already, you need to get them both fixed. They shouldn't need to be separated otherwise.

Your question is a little confusing. But to keep them better separated i suggest getting a more duarble gate. And get both of your dogs spayed and neutered.

I agree with Julie, please provide more details that is a little confusing reading. I have 8 dogs and one foster dog right now. Big and small will work if your big is used to romping with big dogs then he may need to learn not to play rough with a little dog. Shep (shepard mix) and Honey Girl (lab mix) wrestle like two grizzly bears up on their hind legs but they seem to love it. When we got JR (beagle) he tried to hold Honey Girl up to wrestle like bears like Shep does and he kept falling over. It was hilarious but he kept trying. Now when Shep and Honey wrestle he runs along barking at them.

We also need to know why you have them separated. Are they neutered? Is it the size? Is one aggressive? Let us know more details and we can help you better. I have 3 MinPins who weigh less than 10 pounds each, and a Yellow Lab x Greyhound that weighs 100 pounds. They all live and play together well, but I still hear the occasional yelp! It may mean nothing, it may mean a lot!
