Q: Now let me get this straight....

We bring our new pets home, make sure the water is fresh, their diet is good, sneak a few treats in, take them out for exercise, pick up their droppings, bathe them, buy them toys, pet - kiss - love them - take care of them when they are sick - pay $$$ to vets for care, wash vomit from rugs, and do whatever needs to be done to keep them healthy. Now, let me get this straight - WE own THEM????? If I own Chief how come I am the one vacuuming the house everyday? We have been duped. (haha)

OMG! I never thought of it that way. It's like they say jump and we say how high. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my babies.

Really, would someone adopt me like this? I will go on walks and lay on the couch and get rid of unwanted visitors at the door. I even like to get my back scratched. I think I might have been a pet in another life.

I am happy to be a slave to Mishu and Barron. In return they wake me at 3:00 A.M. to play, just when I'm trying to sleep; they growl at each other with me in the middle; they bring home bones, plastic milk bottles and leave them all over the house. They also are better alarms than any electronic system ever invented! i pick them! Judy S.

Yes, an excellent question, but one that I would like to answer with another question, "Do our pets not really own us?!"

Haha, you forgot to mention the 2 pounds of hair we eat each year, but they are totally worth it!

Alas, they have no choice but to stay in our house... unless we're careless and let them escape. But you failed to mention the excellent alarm clock they are, making sure you're up at the crack of dawn to service their needs.

That is so true! I get off of my comfy couch just to let my cats out. We are their slaves.

My puppy is treated like my first born child! It's ridiculous sometimes, I agree!
