Nervous stomach on a Boston Terrier

Our Mickey dog was very nervous on our last trip. He's traveled with us (and the horses) before but never to an overnight horse show. For some reason it bother his nerves this time which resulted in a very, very nervous stomach/digestive system. None of us want to experience that again so our vet is recommending travel medication. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing?

He's traveled to MI, KY, and all over NY without a problem so we know it's not car sickness.

It seems like every Boston Terrier I know has a sensitive stomach. There is a new medication out to help dogs with car sickness. The information looks very promising. I haven't used it myself. However, you can read all about it here: www.pfizerah.com/product_overview.asp?drug=CR&country=US&lang=EN&species=CN

i have the same problem with my puppy. she is not a boston terrier...but for months she was fine in the car on our laps and then one day she just got sick, and from every car ride on she would get sick. it is definatley a nervous thing, so we got her a crate. she would get sick the first few times, but lately she has been doing really great in the car. i dont want to give my pup meds if i dont have to.
