Q: Need Help - baby squirrel found this evening
We found a baby squirrel this evening. Does anybody out there have experience in taking care of one? We have it in a little basket with the remains of the nest that blew out of the tree.

You can try calling the DNR..
There is a program where i live that takes in babies and fosters them and when they are grown are released back into the wild..

I really don't know, Give some pediolite till you get to a pet store I guess use an eyedropper & esbilac puppy formula, also eyedropper their are sites on here just put in baby squirrel care, and see if there is an wildlife refuge around or a phone # to ask them what to do, animals lie that are so hard to care for, they literally get scared to death, wild rabbits are the same, wish I could help, good luck
