Any will do but we would like them not to be too expensive.

Hi Rebecca! Our dog loves these, & they're easy to whip up. I got the recipe with the bone cookie cutter. You could probably pick up a bone-shape...or whatever.
FIDO'S FAVORITE
1c Uncooked Oatmeal
1 tb Bouillon Granules (I use 1 Veg cube)
3/4 c Powdered Milk
1 egg, Beaten
1/3 c Margarine
1-1/2 c Hot Water
3/4 c Cornmeal
3c Whole Wheat Flour
In a large bowl pour hot water over oatmeal, margarine & bouillon cube. Let stand 5 min. Stir in powdered milk, cornmeal and egg. Add flour, 1/2 c at a time, mixing well after each addition. Knead 3-4 min (3 is fine), adding more flour if necessary to make a very stiff dough. Pat or roll dough to 1/2" thickness. Cut into bone shapes & place in a 325-deg. oven for 50 min.* Allow to cool & dry out until hard.
*Watch the last min. or so. May be ready sooner.
Good Luck!

Try the Three Dog Bakery Cookbook. I've made biscuits from it & the dogs love them.

FROSTY PAWS ICE CREAM
32 oz. vanilla yogurt
1 mashed banana or one large jar of baby fruit
2 T. peanut butter
2 T. honey
Blend all together and freeze in either 3 ounce paper cups or ice cube trays. Microwave just a few seconds before serving.
NOTE: This can also be made with baby meat instead of the fruit and peanut butter
