Q: my kittens always have messy eyes we clean hem and it always comes back. how do we keep them clean?

I think you need to get them to a Vet or at least 1 and tell the Vet you will need meds, for all of them and the mother, keep cleaning them with a warm damp cotton ball throw it away and use a clean one for each eye & kitten, it could be respiratory or it could be pink eye, wash your hands & don't touch your face until you've washed your hands there is no over the counter med. it will be a waste of money get a Vet appt. ASAP

Have they ever seen a vet? They could have other ongoing health issues that may be cleared up by some antibiotics.

Have you checked them for ear mites. Alot of times that will cause eye problems as well

Yes, definitely get a professionals opinion; but using a saline eye wash will keep allergens out of their eyes also. Make sure kitties aren't hiding under couches or behind washer and dryer where there may be a little dust, they are sensitive to airborne allergens just as we are.

Have you had the kittens checked by a vet yet? They may have a respiratory condition that causes the eyes to mat up. You really should have them checked out. Good luck!
