My hands are so dry, know of any great lotions to use?

Hi, I just adopted a new puppy. Therefore I am washing my hands way more than ever. Plus u know how puppies are I have a few nicks & scratches on them. With this cold weather my hands are looking dry, cracked, red & a little ugly. Anyone know of a remedy to help? I've tried all the lotions I have but most have a scent which just makes it burn when I put it on, but not really help. Thanks friends!

I have to wash my hands a lot when I'm working, which causes them to dry out. I have found using Aveeno Skin Relief works well. It does not wash off when you wash your hands which I end up doing about every 30 minutes when at work.

2 suggestions: Vanicream (it's used by pharmacists for compounding prescription creams) or pure shea butter; neither have fragrance and are very soothing and healing.

I've had good luck with Neutrogena hand cream which come unscented. It's easily absorbed into my skin and doesn't leave any greasy feel. I used to put lotion on several times a day and still had dry hands and scratchy elbows. I only use Neutrogena about once a month in winter and have had no problems at all.

I keep a container of olive oil on my stove for cooking, and pour a few drops on my palm to message in after I have my hands in water. Works good when your hands are still damp from washing.

I sell Avon and use Avon's Moisture Therapy hand cream. Reasonably priced, and does moisturize your skin plus holds up well beween hand washings. Bag Balm works well, but I tend to use this as an overnight treatment along with wearing cotton hand gloves to bed.You can find this in the pet department(Check product reviews).A little more costly is the Eucerin products, but work well too. Enjoy your Puppy!

Boudreaux's Butt paste with zinc oxide. I started using this in the winter on my feet and then cover with socks, great for elbows, hands and baby butts. goes on clean, little scent, no perfume. treats and protects. Can be found at wal-mart in drug department isle with infant items, or at any coop,or tractor supply.

I have had good luck with Eucerin. My dermatologist recommended it for very dry skin
