Q: My dog is losing hair can someone tell me why?

i think your dog has worms it happend to my dog..... you shoud take it to the vet ....... thank you

You do have a dog that definately is a shedder, but he is a young one and it so You have to take him to the vet...something is going on and it is better to take care of it early than latter. And your four legged kid will feel better too!

im thinking demodex since hes so young, but it could be a number of things. i would def take him to the vet and have them check. ask them to do a skin scrape.

my brothers black lab lost his fur. the vet said he was sun burned and he had to have special shampoo and a spray. then he said to soak him in motor oil just in case it was a bug or something. but after a few months his fur came back in just like new.

I would take the dog to a vet - there are so many reasons for hair loss.

It could be any number of things. Flea allergy dermatitus, demodex, food allergy, etc. A vet can tell you better after an examination and possibly a skin scrape.......Dennis
