Q: My cat is 13 years old and just started pulling her fur out? Is there something wrong with her?
My Cat Mittens is 13 years old and just started pulling her fur out. She pulls it out around the base of her tail and hip. Could she be showing a sign of being sick?

She could be pulling her hair for a variety of reasons such as allergies, parasites, stress, any number of things. You should really have her checked out by her vet to get to the root of it. Good luck.
