the oldest being 7, running around. Most of the commotion and the fun has now gone, but we still have a visiting 2 yr male Boxer, who he continues to hump and lick. What to do? Please Help. This is so embarrassing.

Is the dog neutered? If not neutering will help. If the dog is neutered and is humping then most likely he is trying to establish dominance. With the dog it may be ok to let them work it out and establish pack order. If he is humping you or the kids you need to be the pack leader and let him know that is not appropriate behavior.

Is he neutered, that is important, but be prepared, the girl down the street got and English bulldog, he got neutered at 6 mo, she got him at 8 wks old & he was humping then, and he's still humping at almost 1 yr. , I have a Black Lab, she is as sweet as can be and has figured out that when he starts she does some kind of jump and sits on him, when she lets him go if he can't catch her he will do a stuffed animal, my friend called the breeder & he told her that they are worse than most breeds when it comes to that, but he is better than he was before neutering
