You didn't say what brand you used but I read about some flea meds causing burns on pets. I would give my pet a thorough rinsing but really best to call your vet.

might of had a allergic reaction, that flea stuff takes 24 hours to absorb into skin, so washing at this point is pointless. I would call your vet and see what they say

It doesn't matter what brand you used or if it is the med. get your cat to a Vet.
