Q: Minor skin irritation that seems to be getting worse

My dog has some minor skin irritation going on on her left foreleg and on her left chest that she's had for a few days, I think since the weekend. She's been doing some licking and the hair is thinning out over the areas.

I put Buddy Boo Boo lotion (contains tea tree oil, Vit E, etc. in aq. base) on her leg the past two days and it was looking better. She stopped licking the leg, I thought.

Tonight I just noticed the second spot on her chest.

What could this be, and would Bactine (Benzalconium chloride and lidocaine HCL) be better to apply?

Dina had a spot of irritation on her chest, so I took her to the vet and turned out to be a fungus. It's nothing major, but it's contagious and needs to be treated. I would take him for a simple visit, which is usually not too expensive, they can find out with a simple test.
Hope it's just some kind of irritation though, keep us posted!
