Q: Microfiber or suede couch with animal hair?
I was also wanting to get a new couch...
I've read that microfiber is great with stains which aren't as big of a problem as CAT HAIR! My cats love sitting on the couch with me and even though I use a furminator on them, they still shed.
I was wondering which fabric is better or easier to remove cat hair? I read that little rubber hand thing you can buy at Walmart is great for "sweeping" it up. And I read suede is awful with stains.
Opinions?

Like a few other people who posted I don't have a cat, but I have 2 dogs that shed like crazy. I have a microfiber couch and it is awesome when it comes to hair or whatever else those two turn up. Also I just got that animal hair remover from pledge and it works great with my couches.

Well this may not be your favorite or best answer but:
Get the one you like most, because in the end, you will still be putting throws all over it!
I have a White Cat and Red Couch.....I've tried it all :)

I agree completely with Sheryl J below. I haven't seen my furniture in 10 years. They're all covered with throws!
