We all love our pets very much, either it be in bad times or good. But we will always hold close some of those special moments we had with them. So, what are some of your times you'll never forget?

One is when I entered Pre-Childrens this year with my mare Markie. We won all our classes and came home with a champion ribbon. What a great way to start the show season! I was very happy because I was a little nervous about moving up to Pre-Childrens.

The "firsts" are great memories for me. When Buddy first nuzzled me, when he first rolled over on his back (showing all his fuzziness), when Grease first climbed in the hamper (his favorite spot) I thought he fell in and needed rescuing. But no, he was just comfy!

when my boyfriend and i went and got our puppy... it was a spur of the moment thing. we actually got her a few houses down from where i grew up. we pulled up and got our of the car and two little puppies ran out of the barn. She and her sister were the only ones left and she was the chubbier one. we left to go get money, we were literally out in the middle of nowhere so we had to drive back into town to the bank. but when we got back we knew which one she was because she had spit on her back lol

when my male springer was in the 'hospital' after swallowing a foreign object I went to see him every day. The last day I saw him alive I had spent 2 hrs sitting with him and petting him. I took him outside to walk around until the vet tech came to take him for his IV treatment. As she walked away from me he would stop and look over his shoulder at me as if to say "Come on mom, come with me." I gave him his hand signal to continue walking *he was deaf* and he'd go another few steps and stop and look at me again. This went on until they finally rounded the corner to enter the building. I know now, in my heart, that he was telling me to spend as much time with him as I could. He knew he was sick, and I think he somehow knew it was our last moments together. I wish I'd have listened to him and insisted on having more time. The next day he took a turn for the worse and had to be put down. My last memory of him was that look of "I love you, come with me mom". He and I were attached at the hip, he knew I was hurting and his behavior was typical of him to try to reassure me that he'd go, if I wanted him to, but his last look was pure I love you.

I have two Persian cats and they have a tendency to get knots in their hair, so I shaved both of them pretty short everything but their face. The first time I did this, I heard this horrible noise coming from the bedroom and they were looking at each other like they didn't know what the heck the other was. They growled and fought each other for about a week and a half until they got used to it. It was really funny.

I had 2 male guinea pigs caged together. One was a smaller, timid one and the other a large, friendlier one. Subway, the big one, would chase Nigel around so he would jump up on his pigloo and Subway would stop. When snack time came, I'd give them a treat through the bars. Of course, big boy Subway would get there first and try and hog it. Nigel figured out that if he jumped on his pigloo and onto Subway's back, he'd get his snack at the same time.
