i would like to know if the top 10 or 20 get any compensation for it,s effort?? maybe a donation of some sort?

I believe the top 20 get a minimum of $5,0000 for being semi-finalists. I'm sure the specifics are listed somewhere on the site.

last year we finished in top 20 and got 5000 dollars
