Q: Looking for recipe

At christmas time I bought some milkbone type treats that were dipped in something -- (it appears to be like white chocolate). I am wondering if anyone has a recipe similiar to this. My dog loved them.

I'm guessing it was vanilla yogurt of some kind, they probably add something that makes it stick and be left un-refrigerated, I give my girls a bit of yogurt every night with some defrosted frozen blueberries, they love it.

Since dogs can't have chocolate, it must be a yogurt based product. Your best bet is to check the side of the box (like for people food); the ingredients are listed there. A simple coating would be a mixture of yogurt and vegetable oil; a manufacturer would use some kind of preservative to give it a long shelf life. Your best bet would be to keep them in the fridge and bring them out shortly before giving them to your dog so they won't be cold.

My guess would be along the lines of a yogurt-dip. Look for any sort of yogurt-dip recipe (almonds, raisins, pretzels, etc.) You'll probably want to reduce or eliminate any sugar in the recipe.
