My cat gets runny stool. Any favorites or are people just buying the cat food (hairball remedy) now to relieve the problem with hairballs.

brushing your cat regularly to cut down on what they swallow and giving them catnip on a daily basis to help them digest what they do has always helped me.
recently i read a couple of hairball remedy food labels and was thoroughly displeased. meat was more lost in the mix than other bags and corn seemed to dominate. maybe b/c since they can't digest corn, having a lot of it would help push everything else through? no idea. but it could have just been the ones i read.

If your cat likes the hairball food that probably will work. Also a weekly dose of Laxatone will work if your cat will take it. One of my cats will lick it off my finger; the other will have nothing to do with it. I did discover that Wiskas has a hairball control treat - tasty chicken flavor - that she will eat, so I give her those on a weekly basis. Hope thia helps.
