Know of any good pet friendly vacation spots with hiking?
My husband and i are always looking for vacation spots that will accept our messy but sweet bloodhounds - we love to hike with them - so far we have been lucky with spots in Georgia, TN, and Arkansas, but were hoping to find a new spot this year - any suggestions (we live in MS)

"Wild and Wonderful" West Virginia has a lot of state parks and forests with trails for hiking. Plus, many of those parks and forests have pet-friendly cabins and cottages. There are some guidelines though which you can read at www.wvstateparks.com/petpolicy.htm.

You can pick the place and then check on the internet for pet friendly lodging. I know there are lots of bed & breakfasts in New Hampshire which accept pets

I've heard about a town in Colorado - Frisco - that is
dog friendly. I've not been there, but looks like
a beautiful area. I was in Germany last year for
a week, and people take their dogs EVERYWHERE - even
in restaurants!
