turns out roo like dehydrated kiwi. i only gave her a taste, thinking she'd spit it right out, but she chomped that sucker down.
not sure if this is okay to give her, i've been searching and finding conflicting information.
yes, it's fine. no, it's not. yes to the fruit, no to the seeds. seeds are fine in moderation.

so can i give my dog kiwi or not?

Abacus is a natural brand treat for dogs that is kiwi wrapped with duck or chicken, so to answer your question, yes, and you can buy these treats either online or at an independant pet store. They have other flavors also like pinapple, bannana, and apple wrapped with meat treats too.

I would go with 'all things in moderation'. It's annoying when you can't get a straight answer, I know. My dogs love fruit too.

I think in small amounts kiwi is fine for dogs. My dogs (and one cat) used to like to taste the juice of kiwi and strawberries. It never seemed to harm them. Kiwis have a lot of Vitamin C and as far as I know in small amounts it is not toxic to dogs. Watch out for dried fruits because sometimes they can be a little tough on your dogs stomach.
