I've gone through a few. Some have been a real pain to use,and I swear others were not sharp enough to make a quick clean cut.
What do you guys use?
My cats have been trimmed since they were babies, but because of some of the clippers used in the past, they now give me grief.
I'm looking for fast efficient and safe! lol

Personally I just use regular fingernail clippers myself. As with any other clipper you have to be cautious not to clip too much, but my kitties usually don't give me too much trouble. If yours doesn't like being restrained, try only doing one foot at a time, or having a friend help restrain while you're clipping.

I have used human nail clippers in the past but I now use a clipper designed for small pets. The ones I use now let me see where the cut is being made. The ones designed for human use don't.
I find that my cats will fuss if it helps them to get their own way no matter what I do to their feet. I have started putting them on their backs when I go to do their nails. If I go slowly and cuddle them into my lap I have been able to cut their nails with a lot less fuss. I started out by just laying them down and cuddling them. The next step added foot rubs. When that was okay I started to do the clipping. I made sure to give a reward after each step so that helped
