I think they should say that you can get a card from your local S.P.C.A and put in the card number and it will give you points. I do have a Petco card so I guess I kind of like it!

I don't see anything wrong with this...some shelters don't adopt out as many animals as others do, some don't have as many affiliates as others do, those less fortunate shelters need some way to keep up with the big boys.

Can't you sign up for a card on Petco's website? Then it wouldn't matter if there's a store is your area or not. This only works for people who don't already have a card. So those of us who do have cards can't take advantage of this offer, local store or not. The real world is neither fair nor equal to all; deal with it.

I don't think it is fair either. We don't even have a petco around here, just petsmart. If they are going to come up with to earn points, make it so everyone can participate.

I think you can sign up for a card at anytime - you may not ever use your card, but at least your shelter can still get the points.

I think it's unfair to do it in this final week of the points phase, when PetCo has been an affilitate/sponsor/advertiser all along.

I totally agree! There is not a Petco near me either. I also do not have a card. It does put us at a disadvantage!

I agree - it's absolutely not right. I tried to obtain a card online and was unable to do so. It's a ploy to get us in the store and purchase something - the old bait and switch.

Absolutly I agree, i sent a message to zootoo about it, I think everyone should. I looked to see if you could get a card on-line and you can't so it is unfair.
