Rigbee was my foster dog my second one just a pup he was a sweet boy and he was my first adoption sucsess story everyone I have talked to think I am wierd or nuts cause I have Abby my own dog now and I want to see my other fosters I had cause I miss them the first one Taco he is still with the rescue as for Rigbee he was adopted but I know the person who owns him and they work across from where I live it would be easy enough to go and Visit Rigbee who is now full grown but what I am asking is is this wierd and nuts that I want to see Rigbee and Taco even though they are no longer my fosters and Rigbee has a new home?

No, not at all! All of us who foster would love to see that our little fosters are happy and healthy and that all is well with them. I think we all wonder about the ones we've adopted out and never get updates on. We hope for the best but it doesn't stop most of us from worrying and wishing we could just peek in on them. Unfortunately, after the initial adoption and final check-ins to make sure everything is okay, a lot of people don't appreciate the intrusion. After all, that pet is their family now. Out of all the dogs and cats I've adopted out, I only get updates on one. I just have to hope for the best, trust my judgement in choosing their new family, and keep them in my prayers.
