Its a good quality food, a bit more expensive then your average run of the mill, but considering that the quality is a whole lot better, its worth it, not to mention running to the vet every month for diet related disorders commonly associated with poor quality food like allergies, obesity, dry skin, hot spots, just to name a few.
I personally prefer the their Wilderness line, but it may be too rich for some dogs due to high protein content .

it is a relatively good food...no by-products, no corn, no wheat. apparently it causes digestive problems for quite a few dogs. the post directly under yours is by someone having that problem. Blue Buffalo Wilderness also made my dog incredibly gassy. so while it's definitely better than grocery store stuff, don't be surprised if you have this problem.

i am, however, a little leery of this brand. kitten foods should say that they are "formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Cat Food Nutrient Profiles" for "growth", or "growth and development", or at least "all life stages". i fed their Blue Spa kitten food to our cats as kittens for a while, until one day i noticed that the bag said it was for "maintenance". that's just not right. since then, i've noticed that some bags of Blue Spa kitten formula have said one thing ("growth") and some say another ("maintenance"). after seeing that, they're not a brand that i would trust implicitly.
