Hi all,
I'm wondering if any of you like me doesn't like to use the potent all chemical type flea & tick killers like Frontline or Advantage. Have any of you found a good all natural alternative that works well? We have two English Bulldogs that prefer sleeping on their couch verses roaming outdoors but they have to go out of course! Which means they can potentially come across those nasty little parasites. We live in the far north of NY state so there isn't a huge flea & tick problem but I did find a tick for the first time ever on one of my boys this morning which prompted me to come here. Please help! Thanks!

You can try food grade diatomaceous earth. It can be sprinkled right on your dogs as well as in your yard and on your carpets. There are two kinds of DE so make sure to get the food grade variety. The other is used in pools and has chemicals that can harm your pets. You can also give your dogs brewers yeast. It makes doggies distasteful to fleas.

Well I have Shorty and Abby as for Shorty he is highly allergic to fleas and even though I don't like using the chemical stuff he has irridable vowel syndrome and senetive skin he has to have that steriod shots included with a special diet and another type of flea stuff but the other stuff is an all natrual spray he has to have all of this or he is really sick and just covered in fleas since Abby is a dog and has to go outside she brings them in and then they jump from her to him and I don't know how well it works by itself since I use it on Shorty with all that other stuff also I know they have it for dogs and cats but I have never used it for dogs before only for Shorty and like I said he is a cat but I know other people say it works well by itself so the name of it is Natrual chemistry Natrual Flea Spray I hope this helps it will say if it is for dogs or cats good luck!
