Q: Is there a trick to get cats to not track litter all over the house?
My cat gets litter stuck between his toes and tracks it all over the place.

I place a cheap rug under their box that sticks out a few inches around..it helps but other than that- invest in a good vaccum if you have carpets..a good broom if you have hardwood floors! LOL ( I use a Rainbow vaccum and I would never go back to anything else!)

Also certain litters stick and track easier than others. I have found that Tidy Cat Scoopable litter doesn't track as bad as some others and I can't use a rug or mat outside my boxes or some of my cats pee on them. Taller litterboxes seem to help some too, probably they knock some of the litter off when they jump out.

A good sisal rug/mat or runner along the exit path of the litter box will take care of most of the litter. Then vacuuming regularly will take care of the rest. A little litter beats a cat who opts OUT of using the box!
